What I Learned Working a Day in a Co-Working Space

today i'm spending the day working in a coworking called wework, in soho, nyc. since i moved out to nyc, i've been working from home, so i wanted to try working outside of my confort zone.

i brought with me my art supplies, laptop, cell phone, wallet and a notebook. with all my business stuff in a backpack, i realized that life could be simplified.

as i know that my creativity works better during the morning, i started the day working on a watercolor painting. the biggest advantage of watercolor is that you can bring it anywhere in a small space, it doesn't smell, and it doesn't make noise. so, i could paint without disturbing anyone around me.

in the afternoon, i tourned on the laptop and started the digital work, read the e-mails, updated my website, etc.

at wework soho there's a big room with some big tables too, that they call hot desk, where you choose one place, sit down and start working. i'm setting by the window and i'm appreciating it very much, because is a well-lit space! also, it has some private offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchen, printer, high-speed wifi, free coffee and water.

i hope to work in a place like this, if possible, soon! because just leaving home and working in a different spot, i feel more productive and creative.
