When time is running short, or when I’m on a trip, I often use the iPad and the app Procreate to make art and explore the digital process. And, the good part of committing myself to make art every day is the large amount of work that can be done in a short time.

Since last month, I’ve been looking for inspiration for my next series of paintings, and during this search, I found myself returning to one the things I love the most: plants. But, this time is a little different. In addition to tropical plants, I also incorporated lilies as part of the creative process.

My work often tells what I’m feeling and living in the moment, it is like a diary of my journey as an artist. A journey of living abroad, of expressing my identity in a different culture, of declaring my love and appreciation for plants, their beauty, and complexity.
